What good is the warmth of summer, without the cold of winter to give it sweetness.

I’ve often wondered . . . How do you grow what you treasure? Be it knowledge, happiness or success . . .

A poem inspired by this song above written by me! 🙂

When life throws you lemons
Everyone tells you to make lemonade!
Like it’s easy, a jiff of air.
Acceptance of rejections and reflection thereof can bring so much clarity in life. On what you really want, who you are, and what you value. Not getting what you want, can actually bring you one step closer to what you really want and deserve. Endure the heartbreak with grace and humility and know that density has much grander plans for you! 🙂
Perfectly summed up:
“Being there” – What it actually means?
I loved the below quote! It signifies to me the importance of delayed gratification in life. Purpose over pleasure. The law of compounding returns => The Delayed Mirror Effect!
“Hey, how are you?”
Me: “Heyyy! I’m awesoooome 🙂 Wbu?”
True story. Story of my life 😀
“There is nothing in the world so irresistibly contagious as laughter and good humor.”
― A Christmas Carol“I love people who make me laugh. I honestly think it’s the thing I like most, to laugh. It cures a multitude of ills. It’s probably the most important thing in a person.”

A month back, I jotted down a little poem (after a very very long time) which summarized how I felt then – worried! All nations were shutting down their borders and shelter in place orders were announced everywhere.
I usually make a green smoothie with Bananas, but since I ate all of ’em (my rest of the week’s stash :P) over the weekend – I was left with none. I really enjoy green smoothies, not just because they are nutritionally dense and packed with micro vitamins and minerals, but also because Greens and berries are one of the most powerful antioxidants.
I made this little card on the “Paint” program on my laptop for my adorable nephew who will turn 6 in 6 days! ❤

I loooooove INTJs! One of my fav. MBTI types. Super adorable*, (*)if you understand their hearts ❤ Patience and understanding is the key with them. Also, give them their space. As an INFP, I kind of bombard into their territory uninvited 😛 YET, they never make me feel unwelcome.
I wrote an open letter to the INTJs here: A letter to the INTJs in my life
There are only two tragedies in life: one is not getting what one wants, and the other is getting it. The last is much the worst, the last is a real tragedy . . .
– Oscar Wilde
Reading the above quote can be perplexing. Not getting what you want, can certainly be a tragedy. But how can getting what you want, be a greater one?
A few years ago, I was such a different person. One of the hardest things for me to do – was to admit my mistakes and say “sorry”. It made me feel extremely embarrassed and uncomfortable. Even when I had a sense of realization, I found it very difficult to actually say that.
Negative feedback can make us bitter or better.
I made a YouTube video on the art of receiving and giving negative feedback 🙂 You can watch it here!
Amidst all the terrifying news and fear surrounding us – right from the health and safety of ourselves and the ones we love, home quarantine, worry about the economy, etc. – I wanted to share something which made me smile today and made me reflect the deeper meaning to life.

The above quote from The Bible is very close to my heart. I grew up studying in a Convent High School right from Kindergarten to Grade 12. A lot of our morning prayers, Chrismas carols, “Our Father”, and Hymns have been a part of me ever since.
In these times of uncertainty and darkness, I wanted to share a few uplifting quotes by Anne Frank. May these give us hope, faith, and courage to know that every dark tunnel will have light, we just have to keep walking 🙂
Last week, I went grocery shopping and tried to stock up my pantry and fridge to minimize my trips to the supermarket. I shopped bags full of dry goods and fresh produce. The supermarket was quite generous to send one of their staff members with me, with their shopping cart filled with my bags to help deliver the stuff home
Back in October 2019, I was given a task – to perform certain tasks and maintain + share via emails an activity log for every single day.
It was basically to keep me accountable and help me achieve a wildly important goal.
For a year or so, I became a regular coffee drinker. It started off with Cold coffee Thursdays and then ramped up a bit, notch by notch.

A while back, I was having a conversation with my best friend who I’ve known for over 4 years and something from what my friend said when we were reminiscing our friendship, stood out:
Hard work is painful when life is devoid of purpose. But when you live for something greater than yourself and the gratification of your own ego, then hard work becomes a labor of love.
